Following last week’s defeat of South Africa, Antoine Bell the MD of The CS Blackbell Agency has been discussing the consistent success of the New Zealand Rugby team, in hopes to inspire his workforce moving into the final quarter of 2017. After watching their most recent match against South Africa, Antoine reflected on what sets the All Blacks apart from other national teams. He asked himself why they were so consistent in their performance and questioned the deeper reasons behind their impressive success in the last decade.

Antoine is confident that their success lies in the simple words written on their gym wall – “loyalty, respect, equality, enjoyment, team first and work ethic.” CS Blackbell is confident that these six traits translate correctly to the sales and marketing industry, where teamwork and work ethic are considered the route to success. He recently commented on this discovery, stating:

“I want my team to be the All Blacks of the sales and marketing industry. By concentrating on creating a strong team ethic, achieving technical brilliance and forming a high culture of self-belief, we are set to build on the success we have seen this year.”

One of the key traits Antoine wants has focused on this week is the importance of self-belief in the business world. He has observed that all sports people have a degree of self-belief that takes their play to the next level. He knows that with the correct training he can make sure each of his young professionals becomes confident that they can achieve their targets and eventually lead powerfully in the field. At each stage of their time in the sales and marketing industry, representatives need to be confident in themselves, and Antoine is certain his regular training sessions on communication, sales tactics and leadership will provide his workforce with the knowledge required to create the culture of self-belief he has recently observed in the All Blacks.

The CS Blackbell Agency are strong believers that professional sportsmen/women and successful sales representatives share similar traits, and they implore their contractors to develop these characteristics to reach their targets. Moving forward, the firm is looking forward to seeing their team blossom and build on the success they have experienced throughout 2017.
